My previous windshield had the tint strip at the top and so I got that. My '81 air-cooled does not and by comparison, I wanted that strip. The guy that installed it struggled to get it in and then commented that it was really tight and would never leak. There is no glue or adhesive--not needed with the VW style rubber. I'd go with Ron's non-chrome seal and a tint-strip windshield again, for sure. Richard |
