I have a perfect ppg windshield in my 84 westy that I got for $20 at a swap meet-had it professionally installed in the driveway of my office for $50. It took about 15 minutes to do the whole schebang. It has been in for 3-4 years now & no problems. It has a tint at the top 4-6" which is actually nicer than the og windshield which got a crack from a rock . The chrome trimmed molding was reused, & no leaks that I can see.
