Mine was a bit tight at first, but it seemed to "break free" after some coaxing. Even then, it didn't exactly slide through easily. Used a barbed coupler to connect the new hose to old and fished it through. Man that old tube was FUNKY...

Is there something I can run through the line and swish around the tank between trips to keep it from getting gross?
