but I was maybe going to say something about that gasket.
I have had trouble getting them well seated up into the groove it fits into
in the bottom of the trans,
and it wasn't apparent that it wasn't well seated until I started adding ATF
and it started spilling out - ,makes a terrible mess.
so pay extra careful attention to getting that rubber gasket well seated in
its groove. I put them on just like they are - dry.
or a bit of ATF on it if you want it lubed.
I have tried to remove the filler tube and ATF pan as one piece before, I
think.
Didn't seem to want to cooperate.
the 'normal' way would be remove the filler/dipstick tube, and then the
pan.
