I installed the Overland single piston BB kit up front with 288mm vented rotors a few years ago. That improved my braking performance and pedal effort significantly. Recently I put new, heavy duty drums on the rear and replaced the shoes. That finished off the pedal feel (I press maybe 1 1/2" and get braking right away, very high on the pedal travel comparatively) and much improved stopping. My emergency brake will barely click once and will not go further and I have firm hill holding e-brake. Although discs in the rear seem like a good move into the 21st century, I won't be doing that soon. bob http://www.flickr.com/photos/syncronaut/sets/72157615490910502/ > > |
