The GW motor is premium fuel (91RON) only if I remember. Might make a
difference down the road. Not too many folks know about or repair
vanagon motors in your travelspace today. After all, the last of
these road divas were made about the time that today's auto techs were
graduating from tricycles. Most vws have inline 4s or v6s these days
and the Ford zetec is a well known motor, much better known that the
doddering old vanagon boxer.
It would be interesting to know just what his particular problem was.
And you should avoid "concussions", bad for the thinker. ;)
