I've had a Go Westy 2.4 for a few years now ,I think it's wonderful with the extra torque drives like a regular car (merging on the freeway) up hills .Nothing has gone wrong , came with a 48 month, 48K mile warranty. I STILL would like a 4 or 5 or 6 speed auto trans with it ! I like that my friendly German auto repair shop will work on it. When this one dies I'd like to have a TDI put in next ....Lloyd ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Dearing" <VWBrain@AOL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, March 23, 2010 6:29 AM Subject: Re: GoWesty 2.4 L Engine
