For those who want a far simpler and cheaper alternative, our exclusive Ezy-Awning attaches to your rain gutter without drilling - for about what you'd pay for the brackets to mount a Dometic or Fiamma awning (and a fraction of the price of the awning itself). You pop it up in about 5 minutes when you need it, and store it in a small bag under your back seat when you don't. Also it does much more than just attach to your Vanagon. While it comes with Vanagon mounting clamps, inexpensive optional mounts allow you to use it on other vehicles, or around the house, or even as a freestanding sun shelter. There is nothing else on the market like this, and it's only $119.
