Can't help directly but you might find dome info by contacting Dometic directly http://www.dometic.com/enie/International/Site/Customer-Center/Spare-parts/ The TransAwn 2000 is a Dometic product but goes back quite a few years. You might also check with local RV dealers and parts stores for info on getting replacement parts. BTW, I 'feel your pain', had to repair broken awnings twice now myself.
