Hello, listees
Did anyone PERMANENTLY installed GPS in Westy? I would like the unit to be installed out of the view of thieves. Not only do I take my TomTom 720 out, but do take the bracket (suction cup) also from the windshield. My daughter (she lives in Germany) recommended to take the bracket. There people would take the GPS only and put it in the glove compartment. The thieves saw the bracket as evidence and started to break into the vehicles. On my trips I am forced to walk with money belt, the bag with GPS, the camera over the shoulder......Not convenient at all. 
Any idea is welcomed. Thanks in advance. Ark
