For my money the Magellan "Roadmate" 1700 was the best value. This was partly because of the 7 inch screen. Dont have to take off my glasses while driving to see it. I find it very friendly to use. More so than than Garmin unit I had previously. My 2 cents. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Sullivan" <sandwichhead@GMAIL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Sunday, March 28, 2010 9:24 AM Subject: Re: GPS Recommendation
