Got the brakes done. A little spongy so will check and bleed again in am. Did not need the new rotors after all. Glad to be done. Note to self: Tighten up the lugbolts BEFORE you go for a test drive. Another note: Don't put on jackstands that are set too high, cuz you could trash your Bilstein jack and then not have a jack high enough to get the stands out so you may have to drive forward to knock them out. Just food for thought. P.S. Boot on one caliper was torn. Did not have another, so will replace at next brake job. Michael in San Antonio 91GL AT 'Gringo' 73 Beetle
