I'm sure this is in the archives too but found this on Ken's (vanagain) website via the Vanagon btdt site. Wasn't hard to find. ;) http://www.vanagain.com/how2ign.htm It's not hard to test the new switch. Just remove cover, pull plug, plug in new switch. Turn with appropriate tool. DON'T drive it this way (locking steering) Neil.
