I've schemed ways to add a compact air conditioner for use when connected to shore power. This unit is 3 inches too wide to go in the cabinet where my fridge used to be: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B001THVNUO/sbw/ It only draws 6.7A, so the Vanagon's 15A hookup would handle it. I was thinking of using the old fridge vent for its exhaust. But I hate to think about modifying the cabinets. Has anybody installed an RV air conditioner on top? They all look like overkill! |
