Alistair,

It's been running fine - it's a 1.6TD (from my old Jetta), and really should
have had a full rebuild instead of just new rings, etc.  I need to get a
quieter exhaust and intake, as it is still quite noisy. Mileage averages 8.5
L/100km and power is adequate - I can manage 80km/h on the Coqihalla...
