In Scott's post he says "250 lbs for the complete engine" and that sounds about right to me. Its pretty easy for two guys to pick one up and put it in the back of a Vanagon.

A LOT easier than lifting a Subaru motor - I'd put the 2.5 SOHC Subaru motor at around 290-300 lbs. There's a lot more metal in those babies! =)
