To add to what Alan said, it's not likely to be the gauge. Poor connection at the panel plug or sender or other poor connection; or the sender itself might have a mechanical problem and is hanging up somehow. By loosening the tank straps to lower the left side of the tank an inch or so you can just work your hand in to unplug the sender. If you're good at one-handed manipulation you just might be able to plug in a test resistor there -- the only one you need is the full-scale one. Yours, David |
