I might as well try... anyone, preferably in BC, with a worn out VC (either too stiff or too loose) that they want to donate to my on-going VC research program? I'd like to take one apart, check the seal conditions, the plates, and then re-assemble and experiment with refilling methods (not using silicon, but some other fluid to establish a technique). I'm not planning to go into the VC rebuild biz, I'm just doing this out of curiosity. cheers alistair '86 syncro 7 passenger '82 westy, diesel converted to gas in '94 http://www.members.shaw.ca/albell/ http://shufti.wordpress.com |
