Was pulling the old Bilsteins off my 90GL thinking they were the touring models and not the HD's(since I pulled them off an 87 I used to own in Arkansas and didn't know there was a difference). Fast forward to my purchase on Ebay of a gently used set of Bilstein HD's that are virtually new. Bottom line is that despite some surface rust etc, these Bilsteins coming off the van ARE HD's according to the part numbers stamped on their carcasses. How well do 9 year old HD Bilsteins perform? Well enough that I can't tell the difference between the newer and the older ones. These moldy oldies will be going on ebay soon. Pmail if you want the auction number to bid on them. They will be starting at like $10 for the set of 4. Biggest flaw will be a wallered out hex head on the top of the fronts( no surprise).
