Do not use names common to people. My Vanagons do get nicknames. As a kid my grandparents had series if canine pets called "Doggie". It should be noted that I grew up in a country where 'bakit' means 'why' and batik is a kind of print on cloth. We have men called Boy's and called Girlie, Baby, etc. Some of them are doctors, nurses, even militant revolutionaries. So think nothing of it when you hear me call my white 1989 Syncro 16 Doublecab 'Syncro'. I have other Syncros but only one was called just 'Syncro'. It's California license plates even carry it's moniker. Now leave my hijack thread alone!?!?@&$");-
BenT Ps: my 2wd Canadian Double cab is just called 'the doublecab'. My kids call it the smuggler. |
