Hi gang,

OK, I have (I believe) found my leak lol It is the hose that is connected to the condenser (facing front of van, right or outer) hose where it connects to the hose hardware.

It is very strange as I have seen compressor oil for over 2 years around that hose and why they didn't fix it or it didn't show up when they put the vacuum pump on it is beyond me.

I think they can use the old hose as it was replaced about 3 years ago when I lived in another state but, anyway, if I can get them (Import car service here in Springfield , Mo (they are on the list of vanagon service shops on our list lol) so, that's where I am at with this,.

I will be at their door Monday and I would expect them to fix this at their nickel.

thanks again everyone for your help here.

Chris
