This happens often on this list. Although only once to you. If you pour in a cupful of Marvel Mystery oil into the engine, it should be back to normal. Unless the sensor is really malfunctioning badly. Most often it is the high pressure sensor next to the water pump. It's a pita to change it though. Zoltan
