The house battery disappears into the battery box. If not Costco, then try
Wal Mart. You'll want to search the archives for Mark Drillock's trick to
re-assign fuse #3 to the house battery.
You'll also need a Surepower 1315 battery isolator to keep it charged.
Lots of info in the Archives.
Because Dixie is a Weekender/Basic Camper I could put the amp and sub under
the back seat.
The 6 1/2" front speakers fit with only an alteration of the door panel, not
the door.
The rears are mounted from behind the hole so I could get a 5" speaker
firing through a 4" hole.
I don't have an amp up front yet but the Eclipse head I have puts out 11
watts RMS/channel so it sounds clean and clear.
These musician's ears suggest putting most of your money into the speakers
and the power amp and staying away from Sony heads. I know I'm going to get
barked at for saying that, but their output isn't very flat and acoustic
music (bluegrass, jazz and classical) sounds bad.
