I know what you mean about the "drag". I've used a bit of emery cloth
on lock barrel to ease the fit a bit.

Also, did you re-key by selecting the right "tumblers" or by filing
down the  "tumblers"?

cylinder still "drags" a bit (is tight) but it does work.  I have
cleaned it
all, but just the cylinder itself seems to drag some, even with
lubrication.  Still, should work fine and maybe loosen up later.

Will install first chance I get, and re-work seals, etc. for the handle.
