I would never clog the oil passages in my van with this kind of stuff (Slick 50). http://www.ftc.gov/opa/1996/07/slick.shtm

Although I have to wonder, why wouldn't Dupont recommend their product in this occasion as well, just by knowing the history of the company that seems strange. Even health consequences have not deterred them before. They just shut up and dont tell You about it. It must be really bad in this case if they are saying that their wonder product is not fit for something.
