Yes. Need to move rubber mount piece closer to transmission, so new holes are needed. "Flipping" the mount 180* wasn't enough.

I know you know this, but others may not. Installing a WBX transmission into an air cooled Vanagon with bracket/mount UN-modified, "pushes" engine toward the rear ~ 2.5".

Sounds like welding time. Thankfully my MIG will do ok on that gauge metal. (just over 4 mm)

First I'll install the transmission and make sure I haven't messed up in measuring things. I was pretty careful though. Lined up the air cooled and modified WBX clutch housing faces with a level then put level on end of the WBX trans bracket and measured difference with calipers.
