I thought maybe someone here may have experience with a Eurovan and would be able to answer this.

Friend just bought a 2003 Eurovan Weekender pop-top. What kind of engine RPM should he expect while cruising at 70mph? This is the 201hp VR6 with automagic transmission.

I did calculations based on gear and final drive ratios, but either the figures I have are off, or his speedometer is off.

1st gear – 2.71 38.1 mph

2nd gear – 1.55 66.6 mph

3rd gear – 1.00 103.2 mph

4th gear - .68 151.8 mph

Final drive - 4.91

Cruising speed/RPM:

60 mph – 2530 RPM

70 mph – 2952 RPM

75 mph – 3163 RPM

80 mph – 3373 RPM
