My 85 with Costco Kirkland 14" tires was dead nuts (per GPS, mileage markers, even the robot-radar thingees that say "Your Speed Is:"). An annoyance of my new GoWesty 16" wheels with their Michelin Hydroedge tires is an indicated speed of 60 with a true speed of 64, due to the slightly larger circumference of the new tires. (also makes hill climbing less fun....but thinking about their 2.3 or 2.4 engine to make up for that!) My "tolerance" is about 15.3. LOL. My '84 read about 5-6 mph high at 60 mph. The '85 I replaced it with read about 1 mph high at 60 with same tires and all. Yours, d |
