Some folks have asked what my friend paid for those tires in Mexico. So, I asked him and here is what I have been told: AND, I'm sorry I said they were the "tire of choice" for our Vanagons. I guess I was a little out of line saying that due to the responses I have read !
"In pecos, the total bill for 4 Agilis Load Range D tires installed and balanced with lifetime rotation and rebalancing at Sam's Club (in PV, Mexico) was $5360 pecos or, at 12.77 pesos to the US Dollar, $105.00 US. More simply, each tire cost $100 US with $5 US for installation and balancing. That price was with a Sam's Club membership card. Without the card, I believe that the tires would cost the same to a non member, but the installation and balance would be more- about $8 US per tire without the lifetime rotation and rebalance."
