Jerry,

I have an 84 Westy, owned since 1987... Wolfsburg edition. It has a standard 12V AC system in the back. I have never heard of a 120V AC in a Vanagon or Westfalia.

Jack

I recently acquired a 1984 Westfalia with the air conditioner in the upper rear overhead storage area. This air conditioner seems to work with the 120V AC system. My Westy also has the engine driven air conditioner compressor. Does anyone out there in the Vanagon world know how these systems work (how is the 120V AC side separated from the 12V side??)

Thanks for any info.
