having pretty bad brain fade here I guess.

I can't even think of any 'pressure sensor' on most vangaons.   Things like
boost pressure come to mind.

I got it !
'rear oil pressure sensor'  which is usually called a 'pressure swtich'
...........on a 2.1 engine.

'switch' is more accurate of a discriptive term since it's an on/off Swtich
..
not a variable pressure sensor per se.  It either sees enough oil pressure,
or it doesn't, at whatever rating it is. Sometimes called a 'sender' too.
But it is a Switch actually.

so yeah...the oil pressure switch by the crank pulley on a 2.1 wbxr engine.

when the OP switch/sender  is too long for the socket.......................
I don't push the ratchet all the way into the socket.
It'll still turn the socket just fine. It only needs to engage about 1/8th
of an inch to drive the socket.
Use your short socket  that way.

if that still won't work....perhaps a large vice-grop on the outside of the
socket.
or worst case.....dedicate that socket to this task, and weld a flat thin
bar onto the socket,
but I think the 'don't insert ratchet all the way' method will work.
