OC means 'on center' ?

I like the idea of a tab of metal...like 2 to 2 1/2 inches long, welded to a nut .. so you can hold it up in there to start the bolt...then it can't spin, because the long tab turns and catches on something ..or you can just hold it from spinning while tightening. I call that a jam-tab - it jams on something and keeps the nut from spinning. Very handy in some spots.

I put that bushing in that place on a vanagon once and I think that's how I did it.

or does OC mean off center, or obsessive compulisve .

OCDCly, yours , S.
