Looks like the 1315 is 100A continuous, 400A max, which is probably enough, even for a diesel (48A for glowplugs + ?? for starter), since unless the primary battery is dead, only some of the current will go through the relay. (unless I misunderstand how these things are wired). Sounds like a decent unit for the price, but I'll probably just go with the factory style setup if I ever get around to it, and use jumper cables if I have starting issues.

So a G48 battery also fits, but has higher capacity? Good to know...
