Doh.  I meant to send this to gerry to confirm that I'm still subscribed.
Had I sent it to the correct address I would have received a "you're
welcome" from gerry confirming that gerry and I are still BFFs.

I guess I'm still a little paranoid from a couple of weeks ago when my
e-mail provider earthlink stopped forwarding the mail from this list.  I
corresponded with earthlink's tech department and on the third round the
earthlink tech guy finally admitted the problem was on their end.

Rather than wait for them to fix the problem I done got myself a gmail
address and resubscribed to the list using my new e-mail address.  (Thanks
to Jim, David and BenT for their assistance and council as well.)

I've been receiving list messages sent to my new address for about a week
but this morning I noticed I hadn't gotten anything overnight, hence my test
message.  Now I see that I've received 18 messages that appear to have been
posted within the same 9 minutes.  I guess gerry is just testing me and is
perhaps doubting my love and devotion...

OK here goes...  Gerry, I love you man.  A message from you is what I want
to see every morning as soon as I wake up and is also the last thing I want
to see before I fall asleep at night.  Wait...  That didn't come out
right...  Fiddlesticks!  I'm sorry...  I meant to say...  Oh, never mind.
Just please don't give me the silent treatment anymore.  That's not fair and
it really hurts.  Because... I love you man.
