Since all you're doing is switching +12 to one appliance or the other, you just need an SPDT switch. If you want to have a middle "off" position, where neither appliance receives powers, then you're looking for an SPDT switch called an ON-OFF-ON one. The more common two-position SPDT switch is called ON-ON.
