I suppose I'm lazy sometimes about clamping hoses, and clamping on one to reduce the flow is fine. I even have a pliers like tool that locks to whatever size , just for that.

I've seen fuel hoses pinched with a tool until it was fully closed off, like in technical instructions. That has never seemed like a nice thing to do to a fuel hose to me.

( the radio in Hanalei, Kauai, Hawaii, is telling Right Now that it's a gorgeous day with sun/rain and mainly rainbows, and the light is golden even ) ..sorry ! not fridae. I am so bad. Can't help it sometimes , lol )
