On the weekend, whilst relaxing under the van :) I noticed a shiny section of the heater hose right above the inverted U shaped bracket that support the rear part of front diff. The heater hoses and rad lines are bundled together with factory tie wraps but there was enough movement in bundle to allow a portion of the heater hose to rub on aforementioned bracket. I cable tied a section of larger diameter vinyl hose to act as a chaff strip and secured the hose bundle a bit better with more tie wraps. Just another thing too worry about :) cheers alistair '86 syncro 7 passenger '82 westy, diesel converted to gas in '94 http://www.members.shaw.ca/albell/ http://shufti.wordpress.com |
