Anthony, Fifteen years ago, my VW dealer installed a Maval PS rack. Lifetime warranty. Now getting a small leak (very small drip) at on oblong-shaped cover (secured by 2 bolts) directly in line with the axis of the steering column. I presume the dealer doesn't have a clue how to fix anymore...soooo, would you recommend I go to my aftermarket shop with old invoice in hand. Probably the "warranty" does not cover labor...just guessing. Wondering what other "listees" would do in this situation; probably a $1 gasket that needs refreshing will fix the problem; also, I've never changed P/S fluid in 15 years either, so maybe I screwed up in that regard, the fluid (I've read now) absorbs water and needs regular flushing or corrosion inside system results. Advice? Gregory, Check the Listvendors. IIRC, BusDepot.com has kits. Probably about $65. I can't remember. Rebuilt racks are not that pricey though. About $200-$400 depending on who you ask.
