Pulled the wheel and inspected, all looks OK. As I mentioned I pulled and lubed it about a week ago. No amount of jiggling or thumping has reproduced the problem, so I'm guessing it may have been a stray key. I already had a new backup so I'm ready to swap it out if needed. Thanks for the input.
