Yes, you lose a little space from it but not as much as you think as there
is a false wall there. If you delete the shore power, which we never use,
and remove the false wall the heater fits. See Frank C's installation on
this subject as he was the one to do this and post photo's and text. No
matter where you put the heater if it is inside the van it will be using
space so it is just a matter of which space do you want it to utilize.
Under the seat takes away from the only large area other than the
wardrobe(on a Westy of course). Behind the passenger front seat interferes
with a jumpseat and puts holes in the floor, the bottom of the wardrobe
takes space already in use, there is always a trade off.
