Richard:  Err, about a six pack a day!

The Vitri is rated about 3 amps per hour when running.  Some of
us, including Karl, the *discoverer* of the Vitri, observe about
1/3 running time when hottest, so conclude 24 amp-hrs per day,
worst case.  More likely ~18 amp-hrs.  "Worst case" is Moab when
it is high 80s and so 110+ is the van.  The Dometic would be
up to 50+ degrees in that case.  The Vitri still has the steaks
or the ice cream sandwiches frozen and the beer cold.

Don't forget: the Vitri is TWICE the size of the Dometic inside.

This is all preliminary data, of course.  I'm heading to Moab
in a couple of weeks for more testing.  Will report.  ;-)

PS: on another thread, with the Vitri, a Westy propane tank will
drive the cooking AND a Propex for a long time.  The "two week
rule" is really a *Dometic rule.*  Cooking and some nightime heat
don't use that much.  I have two propane tanks, but wouldn't
do that now with the Vitri.
