Wednesday during a trip from spring in the Willamette Valley down to late winter in Klamath County my driver's door window stuck - halfway closed or halfway open, depending upon your point of view. Since it was starting to snow, my view was that it was halfway open...

Inside the door is a sliding window guide and the guiderail. The guide had jumped off the rail, and would jam against it about halfway up. After it jammed I was trying to coax it to go one way or the other, and my handle broke.

Anyway, before I put the door back together, is there some lubricant to put on the rail and/or slider? Specifically, what do I avoid? I don't want to put something on there that will gum up later on.

Anybody have a handle for sale?

Matt
