gee Tom,

disassemble ECU every 10 K? you have pretty high standards of maintenance.

I suppose on might have a look inside the *AFM* every year or so and wipe
the carbon track, but this is the first I have heard of a carbon track
inside the ECU :)

Disassemble it once every 10K miles & look at the wear stripe in the carbon.
If it shows a lot of wear then relocate the wiper BEFORE IT FAILS. If you
don't do this then you are "planning to fail" like I used to do 20 something
years ago.
