dear trevor i just started following your blog .. interesting stuff on your restore project i live in powell river and just took ownership of an 84 with many issues ... one at a time i will remedy ... i used to own a 1969/ 1970 bay that had the plates fixed to the outside ... it also had an extra plate attached that identified the vehicle as belonging to the california road runners club ... that was attached right beside the westfalia werks plate the interior of the van was really a weekender type until i found a wrecked westie to pull the full campermobile interior from that was a long time ago ... yours
