I was doing this to my driver's door yesterday.  I cleaned the inward-facing metal surface of the outer door skin and applied the Peel and Seal to that.  Sticks like crazy, so try to get it right on the first fit. It can be difficult working inside the door trying to fit this stuff.  I'll have some pix soon.   Stephen

Opinions on the door panels, please. Would it be better to line the inside panel(facing out to exterior) or/and line the inside of the door where the door panel snaps in? Michael in San Antonio 91GL Weekender AT 2.1L 'Gringo' 73 Beetle
