Subject: Lubing the Pop-Top Joints
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Can someone recommend a lube for the joints, pivots, etc for the framework that raises and supports the Westy pop-top?

In particular I'm looking for something that will not stain the canvas which, as you know, will rub against parts of the frame, especially when folded down.

I gave my pop-top that Viagra kit (gas struts from Mark) and it works differently and better -- but the set-up seems to put more forward force on the joints and it feels like they want to bind a bit whereas before the top was heavy but no binding was noted.

TIA for any advice.

Geo
