Dear Robert, Sorry -- I was writing for Janne, and aimed it to his level of understanding. It's truly not obscure, more like pretty basic understanding of alternating-current, inductors and capacitors. If you don't understand AC at all, then it no doubt looks obscure, but in 1980 I was getting paid about six bucks an hour for understanding this stuff...
