Gas running down your arm is great, isn't it? I especially like it when it makes it all the way down to your armpit... good times ;-)

Cheers,

Jeff

Drained my trans (5sp) after about a year and a half, with about 30k miles on it's MT 90 Redline. It was almost new looking..still had the red color and very little cloudiness. There were just a few shavings on the magnetic drain plug. Amazing stuff.

This time I am trying some Swepco 201 which is a dino oil that many of the Porsche crowd swear by and also a lot of industrial companies use in their commercial vehicles. We shall see how that stuff works in the vanagon.

I also replaced my fuel filter. I replaced the line from the tank to the pump and added a small moto steel inline fuel filter into that section also, just before the pump.

Love all that sliding around under the van with gasoline running up my sleeves. At least I did remember to borrow a few golf tees for use in stopping the gas lines....the perfect tool, golf tees..Close as I will probably ever come to golf..
