If you need a new rear heater core I have one that I removed from my van a few years ago that you can have. It's complete. I would not recommend connecting those 2 lines together. Either remove them altogether and cap them outside the van, or just put large bolts in them and use hose clamps to seal that connection. You will be constantly running an "open loop" condition and routing hot coolant through your cabin, even though under the seat, and in either cold or hot conditions that isn't a good idea to have going on. bob .. contact me pmail if you need the core I have. I won't be home (salt lake) for another 2-3 weeks but can ship it once there.
