I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to address here... the only problem that people seem to have with "air lock" (based on reading list traffic) is that the concept causes these big arguments every so often (what else is new?). Not that it's gotten ugly this time but IIRC there was a completely overheated debate about this a year or so ago. Back when I first put my van back together and had to deal with this I thought I'd find a way to put a petcock on the radiator in place of the bleed screw, or that I might get a fitting and run a line from there and tee it into the front heater circuit, since it's right there. I got it bled correctly, decided that it wasn't that big of a deal and didn't give any more thought to what putting that line in might do to or for you, but there it is. Would it help, hinder or not matter? Cya, Robert |
